GTx offers eligible employees and dependents a choice of two (2) Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Medical Plans. All medical plans are effective on the first day of active employment with GTx. GTx also shares in the cost of the employee’s medical coverage.
GTx offers eligible employees and dependents dental coverage. This coverage is effective on your first day of active employment with GTx. GTx pays for the full cost of the dental coverage for all eligible employees and dependents.
GTx offers eligible employees and dependents voluntary vision plan. Vision coverage is effective on your first day of active employment with GTx. The premium for vision coverage is paid 100% by the employee.
Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
GTx offers all eligible employees the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) which includes a health care account and a dependent care account. You may set aside funds on a pre-tax basis through payroll deduction in order to pay for IRS qualified expenses. The FSA is effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
GTx provides employees with short-term disability benefits effective on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Once approved, the plan pays a maximum weekly benefit of 60% of salary up to $1,500 for a benefit period up to 90 days. This coverage is paid 100% by GTx.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
GTx provides employees with long-term disability benefits after the 90-day elimination period and is effective on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Once approved, the plan pays a monthly benefit equal to 60% of salary up to $10,000 until Social Security normal retirement age. This coverage is paid 100% by GTx.
Life and AD&D Insurance
GTx provides eligible employees with basic life insurance coverage in the amount of $50,000. Also provided is Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage in the amount of $50,000. This coverage is paid 100% by GTx. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
Voluntary Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
Eligible employees may choose to participate in a supplemental, voluntary life and AD&D coverage for you and your eligible dependents. If elected and approved, premiums will be paid by the employee through payroll deduction. This coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Evidence of Insurability (EOI) may be required.
Employee Assistance Program
GTx provides employees and eligible dependents participation in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP offers short-term counseling and the service remains confidential. This is paid 100% by GTx and is effective on the first day of active employment with GTx.
401(k) Plan & Company Match
GTx provides eligible employees the opportunity to participate in the 401k retirement savings plan. GTx provides a generous matching contribution subject to the annual Internal Revenue Service limits. All contributions are pre-tax and made through payroll deduction. Employees may begin participating in this plan on the first day of the following month after hire date.
Paid Time Off
GTx offers eligible employees paid vacation, sick days, paid holidays and a personal day.
Stock options may be issued from time to time based on individual work performance and the performance of GTx. All stock option grants are approved by the Board of Directors.
